Get is one of Norway's largest providers of TV and broadband. After years of testing and developing they finally launched their new TV experience in 2017. One of the main goals was to merge linear tv with streaming services and to give the users a modern, seamless experience. The project set out to redesign the information web as well as developing a smart onboarding platform for new and existing customers.
Get has a rich visual identity with the use of a few, strong colors and large imagery as center pieces. The UI Design still needed to be minimal to be able to best emphasize the features of the new tv offering optimally. Extensive use of video. icons and screen captures of the actual solution was used to give the visitor a unique sneak preview of the platform online to convince them to upgrade. The upgrade onboarding was also optimized and simplified to make the transition for existing customers as easy as possible.
Each main section of the site has a interactive, playful hero visualising the main features; watch what you want, where you want, whenever you want. Scrolling down in each section would give you deeper insight into each category with visual examples and short, consise, textual information.
